The Department of English, College of Arts and Social Sciences will hold a seminar/lecture entitled, "Philippine English and English Language Teaching" on March 6, 2009 at Crystall Inn, Tibanga, Iligan City. The keynote speaker is Dr. Danilo Dayag, President of the Linguistics Society of the Philippines (LSP). Other speakers include: Dr. Faith Miguel and Prof. Lorna Caponong. Seminar fee is Php500 only, inclusive of lunch and two (2) snacks.
