Innovation Convergence 2.0

The MSU-IIT Innovation Ecosystem and Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension will be holding a series of events for the whole month of August as part of its celebration of the Innovation Month 2017. Dubbed as “Innovation Convergence 2.0: Soaring with Innovation for Resiliency”, the goal of this month-long activity is to create an avenue for the community for innovation and collaboration in Iligan City and nearby Provinces, to discover homegrown talents and build up portfolio, to open opportunities and encourage innovation to different Colleges and Universities around Iligan and to support and strengthen research and development activities.
Innovation Convergence is a collaborative consortium of different offices and centers in MSU-IIT, and various agencies and industry partners in Iligan City that aims to foster a sustainable Innovation Ecosystem in Northern Mindanao. These offices include iDEYA, Fablab Mindanao, DTI Negosyo Center, MSU-IIT’s Technology Application and Promotion Unit (TAPU) - Bamboo Technology Center and Ceramic Training Center, MSU-IIT Intellectual Property Unit (IPU) - Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) and MSU-IIT InnoHive. With its 7 centers, the consortium is geared towards providing a complete, sufficient and sustainable innovation, technopreneurship, and science and technology ecosystem for the community by the community.
