The College of Education will be conducting an Orientation to ATEP on August 02, 2008 from 8:00 am to 12:00 nn at MSU-IIT Gymnasium.
The Orientation Program will be attended by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Arnulfo P. Supe, Dr. Lydie D. Paderanga, CED Dean, ATEP Coordinators, Prof. Monera Salic-Hairulla, Prof. Esmar N. Sedurifa, Dr. Adelfa C. Silor, Representatives from Registrar, Admission Office, Department of Student Affairs (DSA), Library, Security, Clinic together with DepEd Region X and Basic Education Assistance for Mindanao (BEAM) Representative and the qualified asatidz.
The objective of this orientation is to prepare for the implementation of Accelerated Teacher Education Program as a strategy response to the Professionalization of Asatidz component of the Department of Education Muslim Basic Education roadmap and to meet the Teacher supply for Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) in the public schools and the demands for better teacher qualification in the private madaris.
The said orientation program will focus on the following topics:
- What is ATEP?
- Cross-Cultural Understanding
- Student ToolKit
- Delivery and Management Mechanisms
- Policies and Guidelines of the different Offices (Registrar, Admission Office, Department of Student Affairs, Library, Security, Clinic) of the Institute.
