8th Annual Convention of the MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY OF THE PHILIPPINES REGIONS 10, 12, and ARMM

ANNOUNCEMENT and CALL FOR PAPERS
The Mathematical Society of the Philippines-Regions 10, 12, and ARMM invites you to participate in its 8 th Annual Convention.
Researchers and educators in all areas of pure and applied mathematics, mathematics education, and statistics are invited to contribute short papers for oral presentation and/or papers for poster presentation. This convention will be endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Dates and Venue: The conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 24-25, 2013, at Bukidnon State University, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
Contributed Talks: Short paper presentations (15 minutes) will take place in three parallel sessions (mathematics education, pure mathematics, and applied mathematics). There will be paper poster presentations also during the conference. Prizes will be given to best research papers (oral presentation) and best posters. Anyone who wishes to contribute a paper for the oral and/or poster presentation may send the title and abstract of his or her paper to msp1012armm2013@gmail.com. The deadline for all abstracts is on September 30, 2013.
Proceedings: Those who wish to have their papers also published in the Mindanawan Journal of Mathematics are required to submit the full version(s) of their paper(s) for peer reviewing. All papers which will receive positive responses from reviewers/referees will be published in the 4th Volume, October 2013 issue of the Mindanawan Journal of Mathematics..
Pre-registration: All participants are requested to signify their attendance or pre-register on or before September 30, 2013. Accomplished reply slips/registration forms should be sent to msp1012armm2013@gmail.com.
Registration Fee: Registration fee is P2,600 (MSP Members) and P2,800 (Non-MSP members). Undergraduate students who intend to participate in this conference will have a special registration fee. Payments can be made through PNB using the following savings account: MSP-Regions 10, 12, & ARMM (S.A. # 410-596104-4). Proof of payment must be presented during the registration.
